Alicia Lewicki, known to her friends and family as, “Ali,” won the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge.
In the Knights of Columbus Soccer Challenge, each player is given the opportunity to kick 15 times at goal. The standard goal is 8 feet high and 24 feet wide. Players receive 5 points for scoring in the middle, 10 points for scoring in the bottom corners, and 20 points for scoring in the top corners. The player who compiles the most points is the winner.
Ali plays for the Rochelle Park Rebels under her coach Dave Brown. On September 22, 2019, she won the Council Championship and was named the winner by Council #2942. In October she participated in the Regional Championship and won.
On November 2, 2019, she won the state championship for the 11u Girls Division. The Knights of Columbus choose International Competitors by comparing the scores of the state champions in each age level.
