IC’s Jordan McLemore was quick on the fast break. She went strong to the basket and finished with 13 points. Azatah Lawrence played great off the bench for IC. She did a great job of attacking the mid-range and drew fouls.

Newark Tech defeated Morristown in a nail biter, 45-40. At the end of the first quarter Tech led 8-4, but Morristown picked up speed in the second quarter. Morristown out-scored Tech 12-6 and led at the half-time 16-14. Morristown’s point guard Elizabeth Strambi had three nice outside shots and finished with a total of 17 points. A big fourth quarter by Tech earned them the lead. Tech’s Jaylah Bennett worked hard on the boards and finished with 13 points.
