Katelyn shared that she chose Post because of the great college and campus environment. She felt this school could help her achieve her academic and athletic goals. She said, “everyone on campus is so nice! They care very much about everyone and that means a lot to me.” Katelyn plans to major in marketing.
Katelyn is a 4.0 student and plans to maintain the same GPA through college. She is the President of the Italian Club and she is a Junior Statesman of America. She is also the Vice President of her Senior Class on the Student Council.
Last year Post struggled throughout the season and as an eager fan at the majority of their games Katelyn is motivated to leading Post to a winning record. “I plan to have a winning season. I can’t wait to play with my new teammates!” said Katelyn.
Katelyn played AAU with the Bulls under Ozzie Osbourne. “He always pushed me to be my greatest. Even when I wanted to give up he would motivate me to continue,” she said. She also shared that in addition to the dedication of Coach Ozzie, she is also thankful for, “Kelly, Tony, Tiffany, and my parents. I just wouldn’t be the same without them. They helped me get where I am now. They helped train me on the court and always motivated me to do well in school.”
