Teams are making their last bid for seeds in the Shore Conference Tournament.
Here is a quick rewind of Tuesday’s games
Neptune 57, Toms River North 50
Neptune has not lost a game in over a month. They kept the momentum going on Tuesday night by handing Toms River North their first loss of the year. It was the first game the Mariners played against a state ranked opponent.
Desiree Allen scored 13 of her 23 points in the second half. Allen finished with a double-double after pulling down 12 rebounds. Brianna Love and Alexis Bennett poured in 12 points each. All of Bennett’s points came on 4 three pointers.
The Mariners put three players in double figures in the loss. Ashley Tutzauer finished with 17 points. Jenna Paul supplied 12 points, and Amanda Johnson chipped in with 10.
Trinity Hall 60, Asbury Park 29
Trinity Hall defeated Asbury Park for the second time this season.
Bridget Andree exploded for a game high 25 points. Andree was also a force in the paint with 13 rebounds. Colleen Cusat had a solid night with 15 points and 5 steals.
Krystina Barnes and Kiara Wood led Asbury Park with 10 points each.
Marlboro 40, Freehold Twp 31
Marlboro is now 11-10 on the season after defeating Freehold Twp. The Mustangs are making a case for the SCT by staying over the .500 mark.
Molly Weiss hit two three pointers and finished with 11 points. Jessica Broad added 10 points in the win.
Brianna Cucinelli had a huge shooting night for Freehold Twp. Cucinelli knocked down 4 three pointers and tallied 24 points.
Howell 50, Manalapan 35
Howell picked up their 13th win of the season by defeating Manalapan in A North.
Rachel Gazzola led the way with 16 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 2 steals, and a blocked shot. Jessica O’Brien poured in 13 points, and Lauren Kocsis chipped in with 11.
Kerry Tanke led Manalapan with 14 points.
Monmouth 36, Ocean Twp 31
Monmouth earned their third win in a row by defeating Ocean Twp in B North.
Gianna Sabin hit four three pointers and scored 12 points to lead the Falcons. Precious Allah added 12 points to pace the offense.
Morgan Bartlett led Ocean with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
Red Bank Catholic 64, Middletown South 39
Red Bank Catholic rolled past Middletown South in B North.
Josie Larkins nailed four three pointers and scored 18 points to lead the way. Rose Caverly was also a huge weapon from the outside, nailing 3 three pointers of her own. Caverly finished with 11 points. Amanda Hart provided 9 points off the bench.
Alexandra Balsamo led Middletown South with 15 points.
Red Bank Regional 52, Raritan 24
Red Bank Regional ran past Raritan in A Central.
Grace Dengler led RBR with 14 points. Emma Keegan contributed with 7 points in the win.
Renata Alberici netted 12 points for Raritan.
Colts Neck 40, Freehold Boro 37
Colts Neck held on to defeat Freehold Boro. The Colonials put up a late fight with 13 points in the fourth quarter.
Sam Roth led Colts Neck with 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. Jaime Prestigiacomo added 12 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals. Lexie Iglesia contributed with 7 points and 6 boards.
Sydney Przygoda scored 12 points for Freehold Boro, and Kayla Fletcher added 11.
Rumson Fair Haven 72, Shore 43
Rumson Fair Haven rolled past Shore Regional on the road in A Central.
Hannah Scanlan scored 27 points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Mikaela McGarvey added 14 points, and Tori Hyduke supplied 13.
Allie Reiser led Shore with 18 points.
Wall Twp 61, Long Branch 49
Wall is now 10-9 on the season after defeating Long Branch. The Crimson Knights are fighting for an SCT berth.
Lauren Karabin scored 18 points and pulled down 10 rebounds. Tara Casuccio added 12 points and 11 rebounds. Jordan Cheche recorded 12 points and 8 rebounds in the win.
Quayniece Page led Long Branch with 17 points.
Holmdel 54, Matawan 47
Holmdel beat Matawan for the second time this year in A Central.
Tori Nolan led the Hornets with 14 points. Sydney Coffaro added 13 points, and Marilou Quintana chipped in with 10.
Briyanah Richardson netted 17 points for Matawan, and Khoryn Bannis finished with 13.
Pt Pleasant Boro 48, Lacey Twp 46
Pt Pleasant Boro edged Lacey in B South.
Kate Leturgez and Allie Lassen both posted double-doubles. Leturgez finished with 22 points, 10 rebounds, 3 steals, 2 assists, and 2 blocks. Lassen added 18 points, 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 blocks, and a steal.
Karlie Kuhn hit 5 three pointers and finished with 16 points for Lacey.
Manasquan 58, Middletown North 36
Manasquan remains unbeaten at the Shore after taking down Middletown North.
The Warriors put three players in double figures. Dara Mabrey hit 3 three pointers and scored 13 points. Lola Mullaney added 11 points, and Victoria Galvan chipped in with 10. Stella Clark recorded 9 points.
Hailee Hallard scored 15 points for Middletown North.
