St John Vianney senior center Kimi Evans has had a fantastic career! She’s already won a TOC title, 2 state championships, a Shore Conference championship, and three division titles. During that time, she’s become one of the most dominant inside players in the state, averaging 15 points per game last season!
Tonight, Evans got an early Christmas present by crossing the 1,000 point mark in the first quarter of St John Vianney’s Class A Central game against Holmdel. She came into tonight with 997, only needing 3 more.
Post game interview with Kimi Evans:
Remember, this is not your average 1,000 point milestone. To get 1,000 points at St John Vianney is truly remarkable. Dawn Karpell plays the toughest schedule in the state, hands down! Kimi Evans has had to compete against Manasquan, St Rose, Rumson Fair Haven, Rutgers Prep, Franklin, Immaculate Heart Academy, Christ The King from NY and more. She has been guarded by several Division I level players throughout her career.
From all of us at NJSR, we congratulate Kimi Evans on this tremendous achievement!!
