The stage is set as No 6 Wall Twp (4-0) will host No 7 Red Bank Catholic (3-1) in a huge Class B North battle to highlight tonight’s action. Both teams are looking to take home a ton of powerpoints and keep their momentum going.

Central Regional (3-1) will look to keep pace with No 1 ranked Toms River North in A South as Brick Memorial (0-4) comes to town. The Mustangs are desperately looking for their first win.

In another interesting showdown, Jackson Memorial (2-2) will try to win their second game in a row against Southern Regional (1-3). The Jaguars are known for playing their best football in the second half of the season. Tonight, they will try to hold off a Rams team that is trying to keep their playoff hopes alive.

No 4 Manalapan 41 Colts Neck 8 – F

No 5 St John Vianney 35 at Holmdel 7 – F

Saint John Vianney got off to the start they needed and held on at Holmdel to get to 5-0 on the season. Zyaire Sterling scored twice on a 40-yard reception and a punt return.

No 3 Rumson Fair Haven 27 at Matawan 0 – F

The Rumson Fair Haven Bulldogs defense is good at football. In a shutout win over Matawan, Senior QB Jack Volker threw two scoring passes to Colin Pavluk.

Pt Pleasant Boro 28 at Manchester 27 – F

It took a career rushing performance from QB James Farra, but the Point Boro Panthers staged a second half comeback against B-South rival Manchester. Farra scored three times, including from 73 yards out late in the fourth quarter to give the Panthers a lead they would never give up – as Manchester answered with a touchdown but an unsuccessful two point conversion.

Barnegat 16 Jackson Liberty 15 – F

Pt Pleasant Beach 38 Keansburg 13 – F

Point Beach would hit on enough big plays offensively in this game to pull away from Keansburg – who took an early lead. Jack Baker rushed for two scores, and Connor Kells found the end zone from 40 yards out on a pass from Luke Frauenheim.

No 6 Wall Twp 27 No 7 Red Bank Catholic 21 – F

No 10 Midd North 31 at New Brunswick 20 – F

In a match up between the Lions and Zebras, it was Middletown North RB Connor Robins scoring twice as the Lions offense was able to get the job done with a balanced attack that also saw QB Donald Glenn throw one TD pass.

No 1 Toms River North 55 Toms River East 21 – F

The undefeated Mariners would come into this game and trail the win less Raiders of Toms River East early, but wake up in a big way as Mike Husni went for a hat trick of scores both with his feet and through the air.

Accounting for six touchdowns, RB Parker Day also scored in this game as the Mariners pulled away.

Southern 25 at Jackson Memorial 21 – F

Central 47 Brick Memorial 35 – F

Star running back Mike Bickford ran for 361 yards. Star running back Mick Bickford ran for 361 yards (sorry, I had to type this twice to convince myself it was true), and 7 touchdowns to enter the Central record books in a shootout win against Brick Memorial.

Bickford is now the school leader in touchdown runs as the Eagles moved to 4-1 on the season.

No 8 Brick Twp 27 Toms River South 0 – F

Raritan 42 Monmouth 7 – F

The Rockets ground game shredded Monmouth for 422 total rushing yards, as Vito Aleo went for three scores. The Senior RB accounted for 256 yards in the win, while Raritan added a defensive touchdown from Ryan Dickens in the blowout victory.
