Only a few games were played around the Shore Conference today. Freehold Twp picked up a win over Holmdel in a very wild one as Harlie Kneler sealed the deal with a buzzer beater. Rumson Fair Haven was also victorious over Red Bank Regional in the Battle of Ridge Road!

No 3 Rumson Fair Haven 71, Red Bank Regional 44

Rumson Fair Haven picked up their second straight win by defeating Red Bank Regional in non-divisional action. The Bulldogs are now 10-5 on the season and will face Notre Dame HS tomorrow in the Coaches Choice USA Showcase in Holmdel. Junior Katie Foos led the way with a game high 17 points. Hannah Scanlan also poured in another 12 points to pace the Bulldogs offense.

Freehold Twp 41, Holmdel 39

A game winning buzzer beater by Harlie Kneler sealed the deal as the Freehold Twp Patriots walked off with a 41-39 victory over the Holmdel Hornets in non-divisional play. The Patriots closed the fourth quarter on a 20-12 run. Kneler finished with 9 points in the contest. Hailee Porricelli scored a team high 14 points and was on fire from behind the three point line by connecting 4 times! Kaela Chadzutko added 8 points. Jen Inman led Holmdel with a game high 23 points.

Long Branch 62, Pt Pleasant Beach 26

Che’Kasha Andrews turned in another fantastic performance by scoring 24 points, dishing out 10 assists, pulling down 3 rebounds, and ripping off 4 steals as Long Branch cruised to a 62-26 victory over Pt Pleasant Beach. The Green Wave are now 7-8 on the season. Hydeinah Moore also posted a double-double with 16 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 steals. Quayniece Page contributed with 6 points, 3 rebounds, and 5 assists.

Howell 54, Matawan 48

Becca Hamilton exploded for a game high 25 points as Howell defeated Matawan 54-48. Rachel Gazolla poured in another 7 points. Lauren Kocsis and Jessica O’Brien added 6 points each. Howell ripped off 33 points in the second half to secure the victory. Tracey Brereton led Matawan with 22 points in the loss.

Manalapan 71, Jackson Liberty 29

Kerry Tanke scored a game high 16 points as Manalapan picked up a 71-29 win over Jackson Liberty. Erin Rotondo also had a solid game with 10 points. Manalapan put together a 20-5 run in the second quarter to gain the momentum. Lauren Bungay led Jackson Liberty with 10 points.

Wall 51, Freehold Boro 25

Wall improved to 8-8 on the season with a 51-25 win over Freehold Boro. Tara Casuccio and Lauren Karabin both led the way with 9 points each. Nicole Callamaras and Paige Lormier also contributed with 7 points. The Crimson Knights cruised to a 33-14 lead at the half and never looked back. Sierra Strong and Sydney Przygoda both finished with 8 points for Freehold Boro in the loss.

Middletown North 51, Shore 34

Wall improved to 8-8 on the season with a 51-25 win over Freehold Boro.
