It has been quite the journey for Rumson-Fair Haven’s Brendan Barry. On Friday night, he became the school’s all-time leading scorer. Barry set the record in the 53-48 win against Manasquan by scoring 23 points. It was another tough meeting in the highly anticipated Class A Central rivalry. He now sits at 1,426 points for his career.
Barry has once again been sensational in 2016. Since his return from a hand injury, he has helped propel Rumson to nine straight wins. Rumson (10-3) (5-2) is currently one game behind Manasquan (13-1) (6-1) in the division.
One of the most memorable moments of Barry’s career came last year as the 11th seeded Bulldogs defeated CBA 50-24 to win the 2015 Shore Conference Championship. Barry poured in a game high 27 points on that night!
