Here is the full lineup around the Shore Conference for Saturday. Toms River East vs Lacey is the only divisional matchup on the schedule.
No 6 Neptune 71, Urban Leadership Charter 26
Desiree Allen finished with a game high 26 points as Neptune cruised to a 71-26 win over Urban Leadership Charter. Alexa Vreeland got into double figures with 12 points. Vreeland nailed 3 three pointers in the game. Alexis Bennett and Di’Avian Foster both contributed with 8 points. Brianna Love also added 5 points. Desirae Rivera led Urban Leadership Charter with 10 points in the loss.
No 9 Southern 50, Millville 30
Morgan Henderson scored 16 points and ripped off 6 steals as Southern defeated Millville 50-30 on the road in a non-conference game. The Rams have been on a roll with a 7 game winning streak! Bianca Nicolini had a solid game, finishing with 8 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Gabby Davis poured in 5 points and pulled down 7 boards. Southern improved to 10-2 on the season. Alexis Harrison was the leading scorer for Millville with 12 points in the loss.
Toms River East 59, Lacey 19
The Raiders got back on the winning track after a 59-19 win over Lacey in Class A South. Toms River East improved to 5-3 on the season with the win. Kaitlin Lister led the way with a game high 22 points. Jenna Platten chipped in with 8 points. Kamryn and Kristen Lister both contributed with 7 points each. Amanda Bruno and Angela Guidetti both added 5 points. Emily Miller led Lacey with 6 points. Karlie Kuhn also contributed with 5 points.
East Brunswick 63, No 8 Colts Neck 45
Sabria Glasgow scored a game high 18 points as East Brunswick picked up a 63-45 non-conference win over Colts Neck. Glasgow hit 3 three point shots in the game. Nicole Johnson added 16 points. Allie Warren also chipped in with 13 points. East Brunswick outscored Colts Neck 38-25 in the second half to help secure the victory. Lexie Iglesia led Colts Neck with 12 points. Cara Volpe also got into double figures with 11 points.
Brick Memorial 68, Howell 60
Samantha Bialoblocki had another dominating performance today, finishing with 32 points and 8 rebounds as Brick Memorial picked up a 68-60 non-divisional win over Howell. The Mustangs are now 6-5 and have put together back to back wins. Shaunna Bruker was a big force in the paint, posting a double-double with 14 points and 13 rebounds. Emily Dominguez added 11 points. Cassandra Ball also chipped in with 8 points and 7 rebounds. Brick Memorial got out to a 44-27 halftime lead and never looked back. Gianna Ciacarelli and Lauren Kocsis both led Howell with 14 points each. Rebecca Hamilton also contributed with 10 points.
No 3 St Rose 57, Holmdel 46
St Rose did everything possible to hold off an up and coming Holmdel team 57-46 in non-divisional play. Mikayla Markham led the Roses with a game high 20 points. Markham shot 9-13 from the free throw line and hit 3 three pointers. Ellyn Stoll had a big day by pouring in 14 points and draining 3 three pointers of her own. Jen Louro chipped in with 8 points. Danielle Jordan and Alex Pendergrass also contributed with 6 points each. Sydney Coffaro was the leading scorer for Holmdel with 14 points. Jen Inman also recorded 11 points.
No 10 Marlboro 63, Wall 30
Marlboro ripped off their third straight win by defeating Wall in a non-divisional game. Sophomore Jessica Broad helped fuel the Mustangs with a double-double. Broad recorded 18 points and grabbed 15 rebounds. Tatum Evans finished with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Jessie Iacobellis chipped in with 12 points and 5 rebounds. Freshman Gisella Romeo added 8 points and 8 rebounds. Marlboro is now 6-5 on the season. Katie Hyde and Tara Casuccio both scored 7 points each for Wall. Lauren Karabin also added 6 points.
Mater Dei Prep 53, Sacred Heart Academy (NY) 48
Mater Dei Prep is now 6-3 on the season after defeating Sacred Heart Academy 53-48 in a non-conference game. Cassidy Stimpson posted a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds. Maggie Klatt chipped in with 11 points. Jill Williams also contributed with 6 points and 9 rebounds. Mater Dei closed the game with a 15-10 fourth quarter.
