Freehold Township 5 Old Bridge 1

Freehold Township was able to stop a 4 game losing streak as they beat Old Bridge 5-1. Max Halverson contributed with two goals on the evening as McNamera also netted two goals with Brandon Liebross ending the night with a goal himself. Freehold Township picks up their second win of the season behind their captains.

Wall 4 Manalapan 4

Manalapan came out to a 4-1 lead as wall scored three in the third period to mount a comeback against the Braves. Shane Haviland netted the tying goal with just 45 seconds left in the game. Ben Tartakovsky scored the first goal for Manalapan. Aiden McDowell and Ryan Marsala also added goals for the Braves in the opening period. Wall’s Nastasi, Haviland, and Burns are responsible for the comeback that enabled this game to end in a tie.

Ocean 3 South Brunswick 1

Ocean was able to get a pair of goals by Forward Alexi Laughlin. With the win, Ocean improved to 5-2 on the season.

Jackson Liberty 3 Central Regional 2

The Lions made their case as to why they will be the Class B champions with a 3-2 win over Central Regional. Jackson Liberty improved to 2-2-2 (1-2-1 Class B) with the victory as Central fell to 2-2-1.(0-2-1 Class B) Joey D’Andrea was sensational with a three-point evening. Joe Low also added a goal in the victory. Sean Hughes and Mikey Mania recorded goals for the Golden Eagles.

Brick 5 Toms River North 3

The Brick-Southern matchup Friday evening is becoming sensational as it will be a match that could shape out the remaining paths for each team. Brick is now 4-1 (4-0) as they defeated the Mariners of Toms River North 5-3. The loss dropped the Mariners to 2-2 ( 2-2). Michael Mooney was the hero for Brick Township as he notched two goals. However, Brett Scneider scored for TRN and Eamon Bontempo and Jared Katz followed to make it 3-2 TRN. The score was tied at 3-3 as J.T Maloney scored the first of three staright. Hunter Price and James Waiter rounded out the Brick goals on the evening.
