Manasquan’s Ryan Jensen recently committed to continuing his basketball career at The College Of New Jersey. The Senior Forward announced via social media that this is where he would be taking his game after he graduates from Manasquan high school in 2016.

After much thought, Jensen realized that TCNJ was the right fit for him. “The decision process was very long. Every month I would cut my list down while visiting different places. I was really looking for a bigger school that had a strong business program and TCNJ fit that perfectly for me”.

The coaching staff and academic level played a big part in his commitment. ” I really like Coach Goldsmith. When I went for my visit, the staff was awesome. The campus was amazing.  Academically, the school is very competitive”, Jensen added.

Jensen also credits the high school coaches at Manasquan for all their support. They have been a big part of his development over the years. “The Manasquan coaches were really helpful getting me to where I am today.” I also have to give so much credit to my AAU Coach Mike Rice.” Rice was instrumental in Jensen improving throughout his high school career.

The forward is getting ready for one more season with the Manasquan Warriors. This year will have plenty of high expectations for Ryan Jensen. He hopes that the team can make another deep run in the State Tournament. The Warriors will look to repeat as Central Jersey Group II Sectional Champions.
