St John Vianney Quarterback Anthony Brown is the NJSR Outstanding Player for Week 6. Brown led his team to a 56-26 win in Class A Central over the Raritan Rockets. The Lancers have a 6-0 record and are very close to their second straight Class A Central Championship!

Brown turned in a remarkable peformance, finishing 22/33 for 297 yards and 5 touchdown passes. Yes that’s right folks, 5 scores through the air!  How many times do we see this in a high school game?

The signal caller also added another 108 yards on the ground. The Boston College Commit is now 58/89 for 1099 yards, 16 touchdowns and only 2 interceptions on the season.

Three of Brown’s scoring plays went to six foot six Wide Receiver Michael Stapert. Stapert hauled in receptions of 63, 41, and 40 yards that all went the distance. Brown also hit Jeff Sheard for a 50 yard scoring strike.

St John Vianney will be back in action Friday night. They will go on the road for a non divisional game against Donovan Catholic. The Lancers are looking like a real threat in Non Public Group II this season!
