Well, it was only a matter of time before Kellie Crouch made her College Commitment. The Saint John Vianney Shooting guard announced via twitter that she would be continuing her career at Wagner University.

I got to catch up with Kellie Crouch as we talked about her commitment. When asked about her decision in choosing the right school for her she explained, “It was important for my parents to come to my games because there my biggest supporters. Wagner has a beautiful campus and I loved the coaching staff! I felt like it was a fit when I stepped on campus . My goal was always to play at the division one level, both my experiences at SJV and AAU have prepared me to play at the next level.”

The rising senior has had a brilliant career throughout her tenure at Saint John Vianney. She now Joins Rumson fair Haven’s Sydney Sabino as the two highly regarded shore products can go into the season knowing that they will both be teammates playing for a D 1 University. When asked about her feelings on having a teammate that she routinely opposes she said,  I’m really glad that I have another chance to play with Sydney, because we were previously on the same AAU team, so we know how each other plays. Off the court were really good friends. High school basketball is a sport where many memories are made and we have seen it season after season.

For Kellie Crouch, choosing her future school is a major milestone. However, she knows she still may have not hit the apex with her current teammates at her current school, Saint John Vianney. The Lancers, are coming off a Non public-A Championship something that they are looking to not only repeat with but to excel from there. In addition, they were able to reach the Tournament of champions. For many of the saint John Vianney players, including Crouch, success has come throughout her years in high school.

This year, she looks to take the upcoming season to its fullest potential; a Tournament of Champions Final victory.
